Club Site Template Nearing Completion

We are in the process of setting up a template to build club sites. This will make it quick and easy to get your boardrider club on the web. For the time being I have set up a demo site of what we are looking towards just so you can get an idea of what we mean when we say we are offering a full website for clubs FREE.

I have looked at other organisations and they are charging a fortune to host a site for boardrider clubs (over 250 bucks) and the sites are not sites, they are just one page of information.

With a site linking through into SurfAus with the growing content you will be available through google for all to see. The site can be broken down and customised. All you need to supply is images, which you can upload into our gallery service. A logo/banner to put on the pages. Content, information on your club and contact details are also recommended.

Have a look this is a generic one set up now, this will be the base for your site, all additions will derive from what you see on the pages.

Club Site Demo Home

When we set up your club site, it will be on a sub domain

Code:
http://clubnamehere.surfaus.com.au
We are currently working on building it and we really would like a club to come forward and be the first in.

Thanks
Danoz

Good template! Fantastic offer, espiecially for the smaller clubs.
This has the potential to bring a lot of members to the forum.

Ill speak to our pres and see if we can get some interest.

Our current club website-
East Corrimal Boardriders

Would be good to see the clubs linked and able to socialise thru the one forum. Especially good for shit stirring each other when the teams challenges etc are on.

Nice mate, yer we had very little interest in the site. It was started a few months back. I sent emails to each Boardrider's club in Australia informing them of the offer and all that, however I only received one reply from about 200 clubs and that club already had a site for themselves. The offer still stands, its a matter of customising the content for each club and setting it up.

Good to see we are getting a few people coming in now the site has been around for a bit. If you feel like posting surf reports or just general conversations about your break and recent surfing luls or swells please do. The more people post the better the site can become

Thanks, a lot of time went in as it is something I had wanted to do since I was around 13, however back then I didn't have the know how or means to do it. Let your mates know and all that would be greatly appreciated
