Hi my names Mat,
I'v been body boarding for ablout 15 years and love it. i have travelled around Australia and overseas surfing and have got some great waves. Now I live in Perth WA, and regularly jump in my boat and go surfing the outer reefs along the coast when the swells up. I surf down south around Gas bay, Contos, North and south point gracetown and all the bays, coves and points in between..... (whenever posible to get down there)

I am always searching for new waves to surf from my boat or 4X4. Im heading to cervantes for new years and the swell is supposed to be around 3m, so hopefully i can get some pics to post of my explorations of the outer reefs. unfortunatedly its been howling onshore for months now with rarely a flicker in the swell so i wont hold my breath for anything spectacular.

If anyone is keen in the perth metro, that knows how to pay there way, loves getting pitted and is ready to go when i am give me a msg. I rarely have anyone to surf with because ive lost contact with friends i used to surf with and the rest are to lazy or to unreliable.

I am also looking to do anouther trip down south around july if anyone is keen? Last winter trip averaged 6 to 7 foot all week exept for a couple of stormy days

I think there are a couple of members from perth on here, i am sure they will have a look and get back to you, so are you trying to get a surf tour kinda thing off the ground ? In the up coming season i should have some more good pics of my local and other waves I will be surfing....
Im hoping to find a couple of good level headed reliable people who are just as keen as i am to get barrelled and dont act like Idiots. people who are willing to take a turn on the camera or are keen photographers and know how to pay there way, I still in 15 years dont have any pics of me getting barrelled, just pics ive taken before or after a surf or during a surf with a disposable cam.

Yea i understand completely, i am lucky with my mates - we occasionally have taken a camera out and shared it around, most importantly we share the waves and have fun surfing together

Hey Guys,

The names Nick, local out at Newcastle beaches, in particular a regular out at both Catherine Hill Bay [The Graveyards] & Blacksmiths beach [only for sights :P]...Been into bodyboarding for about 6-7 years and have been lucky to surf a few breaks along the east coast.

Looking to find some special breaks and enjoy the surf more with mates.

I go to uni up there from sydney and i am looking into moving up that way, i was looking at some places at Caves Beach which seems quite a nice place. I drove down into Catherine too - dam the houses are close to the street, one for sale however it was rather expensive ^^

Hey Danoz..thanks for the welcome champion.
Yeah Caves beach and Catherine Hill Bay are the nicer of the spots round this way....although when buying a house in CATHO id consider the developments that are proposed, the locals arent too happy about it. It's a little old mining town, so the road was never meant to go through, hence the reason the house are soooooo close to the street, its quite a unique place purely for that reason.

Yeh Blacksmiths is just north of Swansea..if you were to head out Swansea channel you see it immediately on your left, its the beach with the huge break wall, that seperates the channel from the beach.

if you need a hand with anything on the forums, please let me know id be more then happy to offer my time to a community where a great common interest like this one is shared, ive owned quite a few forums run with this software.
