new surfer wants advice

I am 40 years old and 105kg, have never surfed before but always wanted 2, mainly because ive always lived in western Sydney. I have recently moved to the central coast. I want 2 buy a surf board soon but dont know what 2 get. As i am poor i can only afford a 2nd hand 1. Can anyone give advice as 2 what i can look for

Go for a mini mal, should be easier to have some fun on in smaller conditions
