im doing an assignment on the surfing industry for uni, and need to find out about influences, needs and motivations of surfers...

i only need about 8 responses.. is anyone up for it?

When buying a new surfboard, how long do you usually spend shopping around, comparing prices and searching for information before making a purchase?

-about a week, I like to know as much about what’s on the market as I can

-no time, I just buy what I see in the store

-I usually ask my mates what they think is the best out there

-I spend a couple of hours finding out what’s currently being used on the pro surfing scene

Hey good luck, I also have a similar survey if you wouldnt mind checking it out.

3.-I usually ask my mates what they think is the best out there (I normally also do alot of looking around in different shops and online, ask advice from people who are more experienced surfers than myself. I am also usully like that with most purchases though, like to scope out what is available so that I don't buy something and then find another board later that I like more.)

6.Between better range and friendly staff. If the place does not have much gear I will mostly skip it, but if the staff new their stuff and if the range was small but good quality then I would go back.
7. Couple of hours. But most of the time I know if i like something or not, might take a while to find what I want though.
