As most serious surfers know different boards will perform better or worse in different conditions. Our boards here in Perth might handle like a pig in mud on the eastern seaboard and vice-versa.

So as mother nature would have it, no wave is the same.

I surf in Sydney and its either onshore and lumpy or offshore and sucky... i have always ridden sqare tails around the 6ft mark.. reasonably boyant and reasonably wide... this ensures i can surf just about any condition the tasman throws at me. I did have an old twinny that was my dads that i rode in small waves that was a lot of fun indeed
