    Hi all,
Recently we had my 'ol man's 1963 BARRY BENNETT 9'7ft Timber 'D' fin Mal~Triple redwood stringer stolen from our place at Christie's, south of Adelaide. We know who stole it and thats in the hands of the police, but we are hoping to track down the board as my 'ol man is cut. He bought it off the original
owner who hadn't ridden it since '74. This board was his pride and joy as I'm sure you all can imagine. Below I have put the original link to ebay where it was sold from. We know the board went to NSW, and readvertised again on ebay. Not sure it the deal went through or not.

I know it's a long shot, but not sure the police will put that much energy in
finding it for us, so thought I'd hit the forums of the surfing community and
    see what turns up.

I Feel really sorry for the poor guys who have bought it. Also the shop the board was sold from has been ripped off by the little ***** too, they are totally innocent and have helped us out heaps.
If anyone has any info we would be eternally grateful.
    Thanks guys

FANTASTIC NEWS. We've heard from the guy who ended up with the board and he's happy to give it back to us. Wayne, your an absolute legend. Looks like he will get his money back so now I am trying to help Retrosurfa get his money back. But I wanted to thank everyone for their help in looking our for the board. The internet has been great in this outcome as I sent out over 100 emails to everyone I could think of, including surfing forums, restorers and even surfing museums, so if something similar happens to anyone, don't give up. Be a pain to the cops and get typing. Anyway thanks again everyone.
